Hello Ladybug Families,
It was so lovely to meet you all for parent conferences last week. I hope that you are as proud as I am of your little Ladybugs, and the wonderful start they have made to this school year. Good communication with parents is so important to me. You are the experts of your own children, and there is much that I can learn from you. Your insights into your child help inform our classroom practice, and aids us in best meeting the needs of ALL the children in our care. Please don't hesitate to share your concerns or ideas with me. Thank you!
This week in Ladybug class we will continue our theme of Transport. We will be exploring vehicles that move on land, sea and air. We will be making a fire truck, looking at the scientific concepts of speed and gravity with cars and ramps, and singing, dancing and playing together.
Thank you all for your patience while we battled with another storm last week. We are making up a missed school day this Thursday 18th October, which was originally fall break. School is still closed, however, this Friday 19th, as CCP will be studying hard at a preschool conference.
Some reminders for this week:
This week snack is kindly provided Keito's Family (MW), and Joshua's family, (T/Th).
Please bring any cardboard dozen egg boxes and toilet roll tubes you have at home to school for a craft project
Please check the class photo button on the Ladybug Class page of the website regularly for a sneaky peek into our classroom fun!
Thank you for sharing your fantastic children with me every week!
We wish peace, love and happiness, to all the children all over the world
