Volcanic Eruptions in Ladybug class!

Hello Ladybug families,

This week in Ladybug class we will continue to learn all about dinosaurs. Our paleontology base camp and bone dig sensory table provided lots of opportunities to begin to explore the concepts of measuring, weighing, and comparing size. We will also be working on building our very own volcano in class this week. We will be doing some simple chemistry to make it erupt too! If you have any newspaper at home, please bring it into class to help with our paper mache volcano construction.

I hope you will join me in warmly welcoming Liam to our T/th class and Piper to our MWF class.

  • Snack this week is kindly provided by Madeleine's family, (mwf), and Oliver's family, (t/th).

  • Lunch bunch continues on Wednesday and Thursday till 1pm.

  • We are excited to eat pancakes in our pajama's on Tuesday 12th, (t/th), and Wednesday 13th, (mwf), at 10am. Wear your pajamas to school, and we will enjoy a lazy ladybug day! Please make sure your little ladybugs still have coats and sensible shoes for outdoor play on these days.

  • If you would like to send valentines to the class, we will put class lists in the cubbies, so you have each child's name. We will make Valentines bags in the classroom, and will fill them on Wednesday 13th, (mwf), and Thursday 14th,(tth) to send home with your child.

We wish peace, love and happiness to all the children all over the world,
