A new year begins!

Hello Ladybug Families,

Happy New Year ! I am so looking forward to seeing all my Ladybug friends again this week, I have missed you all so much! I just returned home from London late last night, where I got to spend lots of cuddle time with my new 12 week old nephew and my much missed family.

This week in Ladybug Class we will be learning about snow and ice. We have an igloo to curl up in,  an ice hole to fish in, and we will be experimenting with ice.

You may notice a few changes in our classroom over the next few weeks. When your children sign-in in the morning I will be removing their picture from their name card, leaving only the letters of their name.  Don't worry if your child needs a lot of help initially to recognize their name, we will work on it together! We will also be starting our lunch bunch program on Wednesday 16th January for MWF class and Thursday 17th January for T/Th class. Pick up is at 1pm after lunch on these days. Please bring a packed lunch, and a non carbonated drink for your child in a named lunch box, and leave it in the cubbies. Please be mindful that no peanuts or peanut products can come to school for the safety of our children with allergies. This means no peanut or almond butter. A note about lunch bunch is in the cubbies. If you have any questions about our extended day, please do not hesitate to ask Ms Amber or myself at school this week.

  • Snack this week is kindly provided by: Jackson's family, (m/w/f), and 's Jackie’s family, (t/th).

We wish peace, love and happiness to all the children all over the world in 2019!

Sarah
