We have started a new unit on Dr. Seuss this week! Today, we read Green Eggs and Ham, talked about trying new things and enjoyed a special snack! It’s fun listening as the children begin to pick up on all the rhyming words .
The students are doing really well with their skill rings! In the next couple of weeks, your child will have an opportunity to earn a skill ring token for knowing their street address. We will review this at school, but chances are, they will need your help at home. Some of the students are still working on their phone number and birth date. Please feel free to review these at home as well.
Parent/teacher conferences are on Tuesday, March 12th and Wednesday, March 13th. The preschool will be closed for students. Ms. Missy and I look forward to meeting with you in the Blue Whale classroom. You can sign up for a 20 minute time slot by clicking here or using the Spring Conference "button" on the Blue Whale home page.
Finally, a couple of thank you's:
A sincere thank you to the parents who helped with our Wally Wish List items and Triple P Projects! We truly appreciate your help.
Thank you to Gracey’s and Quinn’s families for bringing their pets to school.
Have a wonderful weekend. I hope things will dry out a bit!
