Thank you for attending parent/teacher conferences this past week. It was very nice to meet with all of you!
We hope your child learned a lot about weather these past 2 weeks and enjoyed all our “weather related” activities. Next week, we will begin a new unit on spring. We will be planting beans and tomatoes on Tuesday and sending them home. Please help your child find a sunny place for their vegetables. Your child can water them and when they begin to bloom, you can transfer these plants (container and all) outdoors.
Reminders and thank you’s:
Thank you to Emery and her family for picking up library books on spring.
Preschool will be closed from March 25-29, for spring break. Enjoy!
Blue Whale spring pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, April 9th.
Our 100th day of school is Thursday, April 11th. We will have lots of special activities planned for the students throughout the day. Please email me if you would be interested in making a “100 day” cake for our celebration.
We will be having an Easter Eggstravaganza with our Yellow Duck friends on Thursday, April 18th from 9:45 - 11:15. More information will follow, but we will be looking for 3 (or more) volunteers to help lead a group of 5 students around to 6 different Easter themed “stations”, including egg dyeing, crafts, games, snack, music, etc. (no siblings please). The parent volunteers will also be hiding Easter eggs on the playground. Please email me if you’d like to help with this fun activity. We will accept volunteers on a first come, first serve basis.
Mark your calendars…our field trip to Maple View is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1st from 9:30-12.
Have a great weekend and I hope this beautiful spring weather will stay with us for a while!
