Happy Easter! Wishing you and your family many blessings as we celebrate this Easter holiday!
We hope your child enjoyed our 100 Day and Easter activities these past 2 weeks. Thanks again to our Eggstravaganza volunteers, Yasue, Jennifer and Brian for leading the groups and Crystal for providing special cut out cookies for our snack. I’ve updated our class photo album with pictures from both these events. Click here if you’d like to view them.
We have butterflies!!! As of Thursday, 2 of our caterpillars had turned into butterflies. I have a sneaking suspicion that all 5 will be flying around our classroom habitat when the students return on Monday. We will continue to learn about nature next week…talking about earth day, helping to “clean the earth”, observing tadpoles in our science center, releasing our butterflies and “playing” with worms!
Just a few more thank you’s and reminders:
Thank you to Jocelyn for her help with a Triple P project.
Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to wash our snack dishes for the remainder of the year. You will find the bag containing the dishes on top of Thomas C’s cubbie when it is your turn.
Thanks to Nolan’s family for providing snack…especially the cute butterflies and Thomas S’s family for helping with the s’mores next week. :)
Maple View field trip permission slips and money are due Thursday, April 25th.
Preschool Sunday is April 28th. We will gather with the students in the Disciple room at 9:30 to warm up our voices. I hope you and your child will be able to attend.
Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you on Monday.
