Feb. 15, 2024 Preschool plans and reminders

Dear CCP Families,

First, I’d like to thank you for the sweet Valentine cards and gifts that were sent my way! You are very generous and I sincerely appreciate the love and encouraging words from you and your children.

More love and appreciation to all of you who helped with the Valentine Dance and with our Pancakes & Pj’s days. These are favorite events for the children and we could not pull these off without your help! Thank you!

ILLNESSES - We still have random cases of conjuntivitis, colds, and the stomach bug throughout the school. Thanks for notifying us and keeping your kids home if they appear to be developing any illness. The teachers and the other parents appreciate your efforts!

2024-25 SUPPLY FEES - Due today to hold your spot! $225 for 2’s and 3’s. $250 for 4’s. We have room for one more 4-year-old for next year. If you know a friend or neighbor who will be 4 by Aug. 31, please invite them to contact me. All other classes are full. Please let me know if your plans change.

CCP SUMMER CAMP - is only open to current Ladybugs, Ducks, and Whales who are completely toilet trained. Our camp leaders are Ms Linda, Ms Natalie, Ms Sue, & Ms Kelsi. Summer Camp is Tuesday through Friday, June 4-7. The applications will be in your cubbies on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Please apply soon so we will know how many children to expect and plan for.

WINTER BREAK - School is closed for students Feb. 19 & 20. (Teachers have a workday on Feb. 20)

PLANNING AHEAD/PHOTOS - Please mark your April calendar for spring photos! We plan to have Photo Specialties at preschool to make individual and class photos outside under the bell tower. Whales and MW(F) classes will take photos on Wednesday, April 17. Ducks and TTH classes will take photos on Thursday, April 18.

“Love increases security and provides safety. Instead of, ‘Get over here or you’ll get lost,’ try, ‘Stay close to me in the store, so I can keep you safe. If something happened to you, I would be sad.” (Easy to Love, Difficult to Discipline, p. 10)

I wish you well,

Debbie
