🐸 WELCOME BACK 🐸
We are looking forward to having everyone back happy and healthy next week. I hope you all got a little joyful playtime and some relaxing hot chocolate in front of a crackling fire times during the many weather related days off we've had recently. Now maybe we can all get back to school without to many more interruptions. We have alot of things happening over the next few weeks here at school.
First off next week, on Wednesday 1/29 and Thursday 1/30 we have pancake and pajamas days. We will all wear our favorite pj’s to school and be treated to a fruit and pancake 2nd breakfast. We will join the other classes in ascension hall at 10:00 and sit at our assigned tables and be served by parent volunteers. The children are all expected to stay in their seats with their class until they all are done and go back to class and finish the day. Next on February 7 from 6:00-7:30 love will fill the air in ascension hall during the annual Valentine dance. See Debbie's blog for all the details. Then on February 12 and 13 we will have our Valentine exchange. There are 10 children and 2 teachers in the class and to have handing out go smoothly we ask that you only put your child’s name “from” and leave “to” blank. On Friday February 14 and Monday February 17 there is no school, it’s winter break, no joke,🤣🤣🤣🤣
We are hoping the weather cooperates and we will be able to enjoy sometime down on the big playground. We will also continue enjoying our Chapel and music times.
I would like to congratulate all the green frogs now wearing underwear and using our tiny toilet. We've had so many in need at the same time we've had a line form to the bathroom. Some have had to make a run to use the bathroom across the hall. We have only one toilet in our room and alot of need now, so there have been a few mishaps. Ms. Melissa and myself try to help expedite the time it takes some in the bathroom by handing them the toilet paper or helping to pull up their pants and having them move to the other sink to wash. We also appreciate your understanding to dress them in pants they can easily pull down and up. Some of you have let them come commando, after all it is one less garment to deal with when your in a hurry to get back to play.
We will be breaking out the paints next week and not everyone will wear a smock so please wear clothes on Monday and Tuesday that can get messy, Wednesday and Thursday are pj days.
