This week was truly filled with excitement, joy, and holiday magic! The anticipation began the moment the children arrived when greeted by our train front and “steam” balloon arch, setting the scene for a very special journey. Dressed in their cozy jammies, the Ladybugs climbed aboard the Polar Express, and enjoyed a delightful ride filled with smiles, wonder, and holiday cheer. We sipped hot cocoa, while listening to the story, creating a calm and cozy moment that felt straight out of the book.
After weeks of pretending to be bakers in our dramatic play area, the children were thrilled to decorate, and of course eat, real cookies! Their excitement and pride were priceless. Throughout the week, we also explored winter fun through hands-on activities. — painting ice with watercolors in our sensory bin, creating festive pipe cleaner trees, and putting the final touches on the special gifts made just for you.
Your Ladybugs could hardly contain their excitement as their gifts were wrapped in their hand-made bags with their favorite color tissue paper. They were so proud to finally present you with something made straight from their hearts. We hope these gifts bring you joy, and serve as sweet reminders of this special season for years to come. ❤️
We also got to enjoy a special birthday celebration this week! Happy Birthday, Ledger!
And finally, after weeks of practice in music class, along with many pep talks about being brave, confident, and supporting one another, the Ladybugs shined on stage at our Christmas Concert. Their performance was absolutely adorable, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of them!
Miss Phoenix, Miss Jenn, and I would like to sincerely thank you for being such wonderfully supportive families, and for trusting us with your precious children.
