November 11 - SCHOOL CLOSED for Veteran’s Day
November 23-27 - SCHOOL CLOSED for Thanksgiving holiday
A shout out to all our green frogs who handled the Halloween parade like rock stars. There were a few frights and tears but we kept moving forward. We have put Halloween in our rear view and are now focused on Thanksgiving and a little Christmas.
This past week we did take a break from all the holiday and fall things to explore jungle life. We built many fabulous jungle scenes with our legos and stickers. In music class we have started practicing our songs we will be singing in our holiday concert on December 17th. I have put the words for our 2 songs in your child’s cubby f you would like to practice them at home. Even though the concert is on a Thursday , this is a whole school event so Mon./Wed. Frogs please join us to celebrate the season in song. Look for more details in future posts and Shelly’s blog.
Next week we will talk a bit about fire safety also giving the Thanksgiving holiday some much deserved attention as we all feel the anticipation of the quickly approaching Christmas holiday.
Please remember to check your child’s change of clothes making sure they are size and seasonally appropriate.
Thank you, Ms. Linda and Ms. Melissa
