I think, hopefully, we have seen an end to summer and 90 degree days. We can finally break out some sweaters and sweatshirts, pants and cozy socks. Maybe even turn the fireplace on for a bit to take the chill away in the morning. We have been enjoying our time outside now that we don’t overheat and melt on the playground.
We have been talking, learning, making all things fall and Halloween these past few weeks. Look around our classroom, and don’t forget to look up, apples, pumpkins, leaves and scarecrows all on display to help make our room feel seasonally festive.
Pictures this past week seemed to catch smiles on almost all our faces, I can’t wait to see them. This coming week on Wednesday and Thursday we will have our Halloween parade. Everyone can wear their costumes, including teachers, and we will parade, along with the ladybugs class through ascension hall. We invite you to stay and watch if you have a few minutes after drop off. The green frogs will be holding our ring rope to try to keep us together so please be sure to encourage your child to hold tight and stay with their classmates. If you/they want to change out of their costume afterwards please put a change of clothes in their cubby and we will help them so they can be comfortable the rest of our day.
As we move into November, Wed. 11/4 and Thurs. 11/5 are CCP school spirit days. Wear your shirt or class color to show your support. We will be closed on 11/11 to observe Veterans Day and we will be closed 11/23-11/27 to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
Thank you, Ms. Linda and Ms. Melissa
