Since Mother Nature has been throwing her weight around these past few weeks we haven’t had much time together and kinda skipped right over transportation and shapes and colors week. Now that she seems to have gotten it out of her system for a bit here’s to getting back to our routines and schedules.

We will come back to a week filled with love and kindness. In honor of Valentine’s Day we will have love celebrations and valentine exchanges on Wed. 2/11 and Thur. 2/12. Please have your child bring in their valentines with their name in the “from” and leave the “to” blank as this allows them to just walk down the line dropping one into each friends bag, which we will make in class. Keep in mind we have 10 children and 2 teachers and we are nut free. On Fri. 2/13 from 6-7:30pm you are all invited to our Valentine dance. Come wearing your dancing shoes prepared to shake your booty to Pastor Lee’s music arrangements. On Mon. 2/16 we are closed so that we teachers can prepare for conferences on 3/11 and 3/12. Ms. Melissa will be posting a sign up sheet shortly, so be on the lookout. On Wed. 2/25 and Thur. 2/26 we will, hopefully, have our pancake and pjs days. We will all wear our pajamas to school and will be served pancakes and fruit in Ascension hall by a group of volunteers. If you don’t want your child to wear their pjs outside later please send in clothes that we can change them into. We will spend the remainder of February with, usually everyone’s favorite, DINOSAURS!!! We have Dino bones and Dino eggs and lots of Dino stories. We will do Dino marches and make Dino fossils.

A lot of dates to remember these next few weeks so keep your eye on the classroom boards and we will try to keep you reminded of all that is happening.

Thank you,

Ms. Linda and Ms. Melissa
