Five more class days and one day of celebration before we part for summer break. This year has gone by so fast and these next few weeks will go even faster.
We hope you all enjoyed our spring concert. We practiced a lot but you never know what will happen when you put a bunch of preschoolers on a stage in front of all you parents, grandparents, siblings, and, and, and. From where I sat I think we all did a great job entertaining our audience.
Our caterpillars made their transformation to butterflies over the weekend and we set some free in each class. Most enjoyed watching as they took to flight but a couple panicked a little thinking it might hurt if one was to land on them. I am happy to say that all five of our caterpillars survived their release.
This past week we spent discovering ocean life and the many different creatures that call it home. If you look up when you enter the class you may notice that our kites have been replaced by jellyfish.
This coming week we stay near the ocean and have some fun on the beach. We hope to make some sandcastles and hunt for shells in the sandbox. We really stay with the summertime fun theme till we end the year with our popsicle party.
We have had many new frogs wearing underwear to school. For those that aren’t I need to remind you that becoming a ladybug means no more diapers, so good luck to you over the summer.
Thank you,
Ms. Linda and Ms. Melissa
