I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break. We’ve had some fun circle time conversations about what we all did or might have done while we were on break. Everyone seems to be happy to be back at school. With only 5 more weeks, 10 class days, left before we break for summer we will be very busy and it will very quickly fly by.
I hope by now you have all heard about our newest additions to our classroom, 🐛 CATERPILLARS. They joined us over the break and arrived at a mere 1/4in long.we have watched these very hungry caterpillars grow to 1 1/4 inches and start to form their chrysalis. We are eagerly awaiting their transformation into butterflies 🦋 and then we will set them free. Meanwhile we have many other creepy, crawly creatures to look at in class. Also this coming week, 4/22 and 4/23 we will present a spring concert. Please join us in ascension hall shortly after drop off and watch as all classes perform.
After we have observed the world of insects we will move on to the creatures that call the ocean home. Then we will get into some summertime fun things, like the beach, swimming and of course, ice cream 🍦 We will also tour the ladybug classroom so everyone can see all the new fun things they have to look forward to moving on.
Ms. Melissa has been going through the extra clothes and sending home some things that either don’t fit or are not seasonally appropriate. Please be sure we have enough left to get through the next few weeks. Also many have returned from break potty trained so extra diapers are also being sent home. Please be sure we have several changes of underwear in case of accidents.
We are spending time outside so please apply sunscreen before school if needed.
Thank you, Ms. Linda and Ms. Melissa
